vlc video wallpaper

I know, I know, you can't see the video playing as the wallpaper, this is because my screen capture program did not see it. But please take my word for it when I say it works!

oh no this works alright....... but.......... DAMNIT!!! I want a way to KEEP a video as my wallpaper and NOT close when I close the Video!
