Homantin Swatow Baptist Church
Homantin Swatow Baptist Church (HSBC) was founded in Hong Kong in Year 1952 by a group of devoted Christians with origin from Swatow, Guangdong which was then registered as The Homantin Swatow Baptist Church (HSBC) on the 20th of June, 1954.

HSBC is committed to preaching the Gospel and bringing lives in faith of God. Currently, HSBC is providing social service to the residents in the Diamond Hill area through The ABM Hong Kong Swatow Baptist Church Community Service Association, which is jointly operated by ABMSBC, Swatow Baptist Church Kowloon City and HSBC inside Fung Tak Estate, Diamond Hill.

Church Building Plan
In Year 1976, HSBC moved to 31 Diamond Road, Diamond Hill. However, in 1997, HSBC moved out as a cooperation to the Hong Kong Governments Redevelopment Plan of Diamond Hill. Nevertheless, HSBC has not ceased to strive for a suitable place to rebuild a permanent church premise.

By the grace of God, HSBC has successfully acquired a piece of land in February 2008 (with a total area of approximately 20,000 square feet) on Po Kong Village Road, Kowloon to rebuild her church building. HSBC is looking forward to rooting back in the Diamond Hill area by Year 2011.

HSBCs new church locates in a highly-populated area surrounded by residential buildings and schools. The settlement consists of about 20,000 residents from all age groups, ranging from elderly, adults, and teenagers to children. The Church visions in serving the need of this community and preaching them the Gospel of God.

The total construction fee is projected to be Sixty Million HK Dollars. Apart from the donations from the church members of HSBC, HSBC has also organized a wide range of fund-raising campaigns like Charity Breakfast, Walkathon, Charity Auction, etc to raise the fund.
