TFA: The Many Deaths of Starscream (aka Traitorous Garbage)

It seems that Animated Starscream has something in common with G1 Starscream - neither of them can be killed, although the nature of that gift/curse is somewhat different.

A montage of several of Starscream's deaths. He did go on to die a few more times in this episode, and like the Energizer Bunny, keeps coming back.

And if there was ever any doubt about this Megatron being more ruthless and evil than G1 Megatron, it should be put to rest by how determined he is that Starscream remain offline (how many times did G1 Megatron forgive G1 Starscream?).

The episode did establish that AllSpark fragments are hard to extract, providing a justification for "well, why don't they just pull it out of Starscream's head?"

Megatron as well as anyone else can try and kill Starscream as much as they want. They'll destroy his body but he never truly dies since his Spark is indestructible.

@AeonMagnus He's still sort of got the same thing going though... This Starscream can come back no matter how many times he dies... I think he MIGHT be taken care of permanently if Megatron had the thought to remove the arms and legs from the body though, so Starscream'd just be a immoble complaining torso, but I guess Megatron didn't think of that. XD

@battybuddy The AllSpark fragment in his head simulates the "immortal" thing G1 Starscream had. TFA Starscream _did_ lose his arms, legs and entire body and was still online as just a head (see: Transwarped), just as Bulkhead and Sentinel Prime were functioning as head after their run-in with the Headmaster. He was not killed until Prowl and Jazz recalled the fragment to reconstitute the AllSpark.
