Christmas Ham-Maestro Wannabe Conducts the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus

Outlook Video Executive Producer Kim placed the winning, four-figure bid for the Conduct-The-Chorus live auction for budding maestros to take the podium for the once-in-a-lifetime experience. He lets his spouse, Thom, conduct the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus and the Lesbian and Gay Chorus of San Francisco with no assistance from Dr. Kathleen McGuire in "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)" during the final "Home for the Holidays" concert at the Castro Theatre.

That was wonderful! I sing with the NYC Gay Men's Chorus, and we do the same thing every year at our holiday Concert... it's a really great way to raise money, and the winner has a an absolutely fabulous time conducting. I must admit that I haven't seen anyone look like they had quite as much fun as this guy did... and the audience really seemed to get into just as much... bravo!
