So Jack Thompson's Response to EA changing the Name of the Taliban in the new MOH game to "opposing force" was to claim victory and tell gamers to "go to hell". (in a nutshell.)

Your point worthless. I say game developers can make any game they like. I support their choice to do so. I support peoples rights to bitch about them. (Even if I don't agree.) thats what it is to be an American. As long as they have the choice to do as they like, they will. In this case, they did.

I didn't dodge anything. I said I'd applaud ANY choice they made. if they thought making a less violent GTA would be best for them, that's fine with me. Would I AGREE? probably not. I'm not concerned with the depiction of violence in a GTA game and don't find it offensive. But if I thought they had a good reason for omitting it then hell yes I would support them in that decision. Whether I agreed with it or not. I like rockstar as a company. Why wouldn't I support them?

Because he stirred so much controversy up over this game, and then failed to prevent it's release, he probably increased sales and awareness of the title and made the developers more money. Thanks Jack!

No, I'm not. I never even remotely suggested that and when asked, I will tell anyone that yes, every person is entitled to their opinion. If you think otherwise, then your basically failing to understand what this video is about. your comprehension skills must seriously lack.

I'm not basically saying anything. I'm saying without beating around the bush that he's a first class asshole (for reasons I already stated). he's allowed his opinion, but I will speak out every time when he lies, spreads misinformation, or takes credit for something he didn't do. None of that is about his opinion. it's about him being a jerk and a Moron.

Lastly, I'm entitled to my opinion as well. so I see no problem voicing it. especially on this topic.

Thompson was found guilty of 27 of the 31 violations against the Florida state bar brought up against him, including making false statements to tribunals, disparaging and humiliating litigants and other lawyers, and improperly practicing law outside of Florida. he also earned a $43,675.35 fine for continued misconduct. Yes, he is without question an asshole.
