@4x12 Im 2 months late on a reply but hopefully this helps. I took a trip to NC from FL on my Xbones and it wasnt bad at all. Get a comfortable pair of gloves and strap your backpack or whatever down to the rear fender and you're good to go. I locked the throttle a few times but most of the time I was comfortable and enjoying the ride. 9 hour trip including breaks for gas and food.

Great bike, very nice presentation. I'm 6'3" and I feel great on that tractor seat combined with the mini-ape-hangers.
