i'll never forget the second they come on stage. it was fantastic. the power cut just made the day when you hear 100000 people just singing along with no music. we got to see more of them than anybody else due to it. im a newcastle fan and had no problems with other football fans apart from the scallies but they had to come to manchester cos oasis would not go to scalliepool cos the generator would have got lifted before it got a chance to blow lol. OASIS FOREVER

I'm also a newcastle fan, but I'm from manchester and I went with a load of City fans. It was such a fucking brilliant day/night. Will almost certainly not happen again. Thursday was the best day by far, all the videos and everything are from the Thursday. I live round the corner from heaton park and that just made it all the more magical for me

yeah you right it was all scousers especially the ticket touts. We bought 6 tickets for 20 q'dsby the way thurs was the first night. sat afties i heard it from by back yard and sunday night. Sunday you coulnt get in for luv nor money. I watched it from the school yard accross the road there was hundreds of people there it reminded me of the beatles rooftop concerts

I'll never forget that moment when the drums kicked in at the start of this song and everyone started going mental! Brilliant gig despite the power problems. There was a lot of scallies there, but once the music started it didn't matter!

i love oasis, but heaton park was just a field full of brainless scallie plebs arguing about football and shouting random abuse at each other, fucking disgraceful. not a great rock moshpit like at download festival.
