Chef Jem, who lives in the house where this was filmed, wanted to add the following information:
After this taping a house mate asked if what my "goat man" was doing was
legal. I responded that he is providing a completely lawful and private
contractual service that is exempt from any legal obligations (within
commerce) and therefore there is no legal issue with government (which
is only authorized to regulate commerce). My house mate suggested that I
add this information as a note to the clip that is to be uploaded at
YouTube and I agreed.
I'm adding this note so that I don't leave the impression (with an
unenlightened public) that my goat man operates a "black market"
business. Our consciously created, private association places the
milking activity exclusively into the realm of private contract. The
Constitution itself declares under (the contract clause) of Article 1,
Section 10, "No State shall ... pass any ... Law impairing the
Obligation of Contracts,"
http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html#A1Sec10
The Raw Milk movement as a whole is getting up to speed on the truth of
this and we are finding a growing number of communities choosing private
contractual associations (and the like) whereby the milking and the
sharing of milk becomes their own private "business" and completely
outside of the realm of commerce. The point here is that the liberty to
do this is now becoming an integrated part of the raw milk movement.
Additional liberty issues relate to our movement as well. All of these
kinds of educational outreach deserves our thoughtful and respectful
consideration.
The Federal government has constitutional authority to regulate
commerce. Art. I, Sec. 8 "The Congress shall have Power .... to regulate
Commerce ... among the several States, ..."
http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html#A1Sec8
People who privately share amongst themselves the responsibilities and
benefits of raising their own animals are not engaged in commerce and
therefore are not subject to this power duly authorized to Congress.
Cheers to our Liberty!

I encourage everyone to consider trying a brand of goats milk from Petaluma California called Redwood Hill Farm. I LOVE their "Traditional Plain" Goat Kefir and so does everyone around me that I have informed. My goals: find a source of raw goat's milk so I can make my own kefir and then eventually get a family goat of our own.
PS: I also LOVE Ron Paul!

Goat milk is as close to a perfect food as possible in nature. Its chemical structure is amazingly similar to mother's milk. It is a complete protein containing all the essential amino acids without the heavy fat content and catarrh producing materials of cow's milk.
