This is a typical play of the winning AI controller, ICE Pambush 3, at the IEEE CIG 2009 Software Agent Ms. Pac-Mac Competition. At present, as of Sep 2009, ICE Pambush 3 is holding the record for the competitions conducted so far.
For more information, please visit the competition page

In the page, the source code of our controller and a description document are also available.
NOTE: There is an error in our description there! Two versions of Depth-first Search are used, not two versions of A* as described in the description document.
Our previous version, ICE Pambush 2, also won the preceding competition at the IEEE CEC 2009. For more information on this version, please visit

Is your bot designed to exploit the passthru bug @ 2:50 or was it a coincidence? Seems like a bot that could exploit it regularly would be almost unstoppable.

Just a coincidence.

VERY impressive, but could have been better about leaving bunches of Pac-Dots lying around.

Nice job guys! I was there when your bot beat the record at the CIG 2009 competition, the crowd was cheering your bot a lot! Congrats, and see you (or your bot) at next years' CIG!

Thank you!
I just knew that your Mario AI won the competition. Great job and congratulations!
From the accesses, Mario AI seems to gain more interests than Ms Pac-Man AI.
