  • I'm glad to read you're going to try it. It is delicious. :)

    The problem with potatoes is they really set the soup a bit starchier than you might get using this recipe -- with the other veggies it's quite balanced. You can try it though! On a side note, I'd avoid noodles for sure. I tried it once and it was just a mess.

    Since I've been Vegan I'm meeting food from everywhere in the world. I was a lousy cook and hated the kitchen, now I find quite fun.

  • @veganbot I think for those who love potato or love a veeeeery creammy soup it's good, for vegans it also will feel like there's milk or become cheesy in the right amount.

  • I am making this right now and what are your thoughts on adding Cayane in place of crushed red pepper as i dont have the pepper also what about adding Kidney beans and Corn?

  • Good stuff in this one. I'm a little worried about what's going to happen to the cabbage though. Cabbage always seem to get weird on me when I cook it too long.

    The other thing I don't understand is who's eating all the meat we produce in this country. In the 1960's (before all the vegan stuff got started) average per capita meat consumption was 160 pounds. Now it's more like 240.
