I was there when he crashed, couldnt stop laughing :D
-
I filmed that accident on another screen further up the hill
-
if you had actualy been there for the full weekend you would have seen the car do many burnouts for the crowds to enjoy
-
why have people got to be so negative in posting comments if it was not for these people turning up with there cars then there would be no goodwood or any other event as these cars and many like them would have been crushed after the factory teams finished with them, most owneres of these cars are not rich people just lucky to own them and pay for repairs out of there own pockets there is always a few jealous people who have to call people names which they know nothing about
-
if you had actually entered an F1 car then you would have know F1 cars are not allowed to do timed runs up the hill due to safety maybe one day you will be able to own and drive your own F1 car and appreciate the time and effort people that do take there cars there put into them for your enjoyment, also you dont have to fix it
-
oh thats that retard that tried to do a burnout then failed and smashed into the barrier. what an EPIC FAIL
-
more like driver error .wot an idiot.perhaps his head will shrink now
-
I filmed this replay on another big screen
If he'd been driving it properly up the hill, rather than doing a slow run with burnouts, even if he'd crashed he'd have looked a lot less of a pillock.
So many of these guys at Goodwood FOS don't drive the cars in the manner they were built for. It's a timed HILL CLIMB for crying out loud, i.e go as fast as possible. Any muppet can do a burnout. Except this one, obviously....

Sadly no, I don't own an F1 car, and normally I'd agree with you - but personally, even in the 3 years I've been going to the FOS, I've noticed a DRAMATIC decrease in racing.
For me that's really sad, and as such I now find the Revival, Brands and Silverstone classics much much better, because they actually race the cars. Yes they get smashed, dented etc but that's what they are built for.
Seeing someone do a burnout? I could get that down Tesco's carpark on a Friday night. A waste.
