I have learned to dance this andro. Very nice. In Breton, "tu" means "side". "Chañch-tu" means : to change from a side to another. It is easy to understand why this dance is called "chañch-tu".

Rainbow 2000! Great camps with Diamid-(probably spelt it wrong, sorry) leading lovely circle dances. At the rainbow 2000 superspirit camps its with live music too, wonderful. Great to see the Rainbow people on Youtube!!! : )

it's called andro retourné. but it's used to be called chanjetu, cause i think this is the only known :).
but when it is sang "Dans mon village en HAUT ! Dans mon village en BAS !" you have to throw up your hands verticaly then throw them down, just before change tu..
(you just have to increase the movement of the andro at this moment).
une dance bien sympa.
l'andro-hanterdro est bien sympa aussi.
ça m'a donné envie d'aller refaire un petit tour en Fest Noz du coup !
thx ;)

That's me in the purple top and blue jeans! :)
This is a dance from High-Brittany (east part of Brittany). Could you tell us how it is called?
