Manatee Health Assessment 1

Manatee health assessments were conducted on November 9, 2011 and were led by the U.S. Geological Survey's Sirenia Project. They also included personnel from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the University of Florida. Such procedures are performed in order to test the general health of the manatee population in Kings Bay, located in Crystal River, Florida.
