We simply press jatropha oil nuts into jatropha crude oil. After separating the residue from the oil, it is ready to be put on an ordinary diesel engine. In this movie we are using a small 10Hp unmodified diesel engine, but we also run tractors and power generators. For cars in colder climate the oil should be refined into biodiesel or synthetic diesel.

The future is also in Eco-villages and getting communities to be self-sufficient working together to grow food and build homes from natural materials around them. This will save us from needing to use cars so much because all of our needs will be there in the village,, Most of them any way. One could travel and trade with other villages but people wouldn't be traveling on such a large scale if there basic needs were provided in a localized area by the community.

Bad idea for the future .. Any land wasted that could be growing food and energy wasted that could be growing food is not a good solution. It is an interesting idea and I not knocking the discovery, but the future is in electric cars and gathering electricity from solar and wind power. It is much cheaper to build a Solar Farm than to dig for oil or start a Coal Plant. People just need to wake up and realize this fact. Electricity can be made this way for cars.
