  • Why do no modern versions of this have "I Remember Love"??? its an incredible song and inroduces the whole "Ms.Totendale loves Underling" concept

  • @sunbeam98 Well personally I prefer "Love Is Always Lovely", but I can understand where you're coming from. Both songs actually do have the concept... "I Remember Love" is just more bunt about it.

  • Hmm, they left out the comment about the subtext of the lyrics "love is always lovely in the end", which the Man in the Chair, as a homosexual, thought signaled a huge double entendre. I rather liked that line, myself. ;)

  • @QueenBoadicea Oh we like it too...but unfortunately we had to "clean up" some of the lines because it is youth theatre in a very conservative town...we also had to cut out the pornography monologue...which really disappointed me :p

  • @irishdramanerd Haha the pornography monologue.... when I first read the libretto for the show, I was like "Wait what?! Is this really in the script?! xD"

  • @gogoboots26 You will have a blast! she is so much fun to play! :)

    - Mrs. Tottendale :)

  • Can't wait until I start rehearsals! I'm cast as Mrs. Tottendale!

  • @irishdramanerd I'm sorry about that, I was in a sour mood that day, and I was angry that neither my schools performance (I have to stop mentioning that....) or this one had it and it ticked me off..... but I agree

  • Dear Man In Chair I am deeply inlove with thou acting, MARRY ME!!!!! :P

  • @QueenBoadicea Precisely. It took a lot in me not to mutter the line :p

    - Man in Chair

  • @irishdramanerd Ah, so I suppose why the Man in the Chair didn't mention how Trix the Aviatrix was just a code word for "lesbian". Heh.
