@lp45cdwoman Definitely - nobody did explosions like Gerry Anderson! And I agree with SR7, the drums at 0.38 are great, could've stood another minute or so of those.

I wonder if that was an inside joke on the part of the producers of the show: All the puppets seem to fit the stereotype of being W.A.S.P.-ish.

One of the most exciting openings for any TV show, EVER! Kids' show or no, it ranks right up there with HAWAII FIVE O and MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE for great TV themes! Barry Gray came up with a classic!

Not having a color TV at the time this show was popular, the effect of switching from black and white to color at the begining of the opening was totally lost on me!
Great stuff, though! It beats the heck out of Dora the Explora and Barney !
