A rare white bluebonnet near Lampasas, Texas, on Highway 281. There were three in this bluebonnet field.

  • That's lovely. Thanks for that. I'll have to keep an eye out for them, though I understand that the white bluebonnet is actually a strain of bluebonnet (the've been photographed in huge patches), and that the pink bluebonnet (so-called Abbott Pink) is even more rare.
