Low 12s is what I would expect from C32 with light mods. A stock STI however I would expect 13.3-14.2 depending on the driver.

If calibrated properly they aren't that far off. Traction is the main unknown that can't be taken into account. Agreed there is no way a bone stock STi would never run 12s. I also never claimed this to be an exact real world run however, this car is capable of these numbers at the track.

You do know that those dynos are not accurate by anymeans when it comes to 1/4 mile times right.... we did a bone stock STI on a mustang dyno at my brothers shop just to see what it would say.... Well, it claimed to run a 12.3 @ 112mph which is total BS lmao....

Thanks. That was a sim. run on a dyno. The dyno loads the tires as if it were on the road, simulated weight, drag, etc. It is accurate ACCEPT it doesn't take into account the loss of traction off. It is closer to what you would get under idea conditions and perfect traction.
I figure it will run 12.4s all day at the track with a solid launch. Bad launch would have me in the high 12s I suspect. No timeslips though so just my guess based on others times with similar mods.
Other than the headers are there any mods to the exhaust system?

@Kenny31190 VRP headers, custom intake, 185mm LET pulley, rear cats and resonator removed and a few other little tricks are what lead to the great supercharger whine and exhaust note. Later replaced the stock AMG muffler with a Weltmeister quad tip exhaust which made it sound even deeper.

So the sound in this run is with the stock AMG muffler correct? Could you comment on the difference in exhaust volume + tone when you added the VRP headers?
Thanks,
Ken

@Kenny31190 Correct, stock AMG muffler. Tone with the headers was slightly deeper but not as much of a change as I was expecting. Good hp/tq gains however.

what is the actual horsepower number?

@barbabart - Final numbers were around 350hp and just over 380tq at the wheels on a Mustang Dyno. You can do the math if you want crank numbers....I believe most agree it's around 20% drivetrain loss on the automatics...
