Dude, being born and living in the South (Alabama) currently, I can say that I was, BY AN EXTREMELY HUGE MARGIN, much happier living up north in the New England area (primarily, East Rutheford, New Jersey) and in Detroit, MI. Ever since moving down here to Good Ol' 'Bama, I've seen some high points, but as a vast majority, here, Missisippi, Texas (mostly, LIBERAL and uptown Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio are quite nice) but the rest is completely hick/ghetto trash territory.

For an Athiest, Alabama is the eqivelent of Hell. I do not even hate religion and it is Hell for me. Heck, if I was religious it would most likely be Hell.
