  • Burt, Thanks for the demo. I wondered how that worked and I'll check out the rest of the videos. But to tell you the truth i am still hooked on the old boat anchor gear I'm used to.. I have ICOM and Kenwood tranceivers but to me its like using CB gear. Theres nothing like having a transmitter and a receiver along side of it to enjoy. Although the flex 500 has some advantages its still like going into a chat room on the computer. well at least to me it is. I know the new generation will disagree.

  • @Hallicrafters88 You have a good point.

  • My gawd you are annoying and NOT funny..... Stop moving your head, your not a damn bobble head toy. Bored by ham radio unless you have a computer eh? What a joke of a report and not a funny one.... Pathetic attempt at humor that does more damage to the FLEX name than good, looks like I'll stay with my 756proIII

  • @kimdaviscali This video has over 24,000 views, some of my others exceed 60,000 and you, you have your channel blocked. To be called an ass by an ass is a compliment

  • Burt stop being a ass CBradio is radio just like morse code is still useful.

  • @2627mhz I am an ass? I would encourage anyone to watch your videos and see who is the ass.

  • Well done Burt on the flex 5000a Video,so much fun to be had......... love all the software

  • Well done. A very useful bit of gear for those so inclined. Makes ham radio a bit more like an internet contact. My ham husband may consider one when he gets too old to home-brew.

  • SCHTICK

  • now thats what i call a nice bit of kit.i have seen one of these in use so i know its good....jeff

  • At least you don't need an interface for PSK, SSTV, or RTTY

  • A nice overview, Burt. Thanks for the effort and sharing.
