The pilot was just walking back to put tension on the tow rope when the driver floored it, no communication seems like. Our pre flight radio communication goes like this; Pilot "Mike check." Driver" Receiving, ready to go". Pilot " Locking on mike, picking up glider, walking back for tension, harness and rope is free and clear, wind is 5 knots from the left, wing is level, GO GO GO!

Once i saw this Stunt at a tournament unfortunatelly the Pilot landed abruptly fracturing his jaw, once recovered his second attempt was Ok .

The sound was his shoes being left behind.
