the fact that it was pushed on a little truck thing from the back kinda ruined it for me. the legs just... dangle. would be much cooler if they actually touched ground, and if there had been movement coordination stuff going on.

i thought the movement was very realistic - video doesn't do it justice though. plus, it was operating in a pretty confined space with people packed in on either side - i bet in an open space it could really move properly.

meanwhile to the camera-mans right i am workin in the welkin on a day which was worse than matthew street, so i missed every event of the la princesse - really wish it was computer controlled aswell would of made it more real , from the vids i have seen

The French spiders are now on display in Japan, where I'm vacationing. I saw them this weekend. They're absolutely terrific, and the kids loved the show! It's true the vid doesn't do the show justice, but it's a nice video nonetheless.

this caused a load of whingeing, but what else was the capital of culture meant to be about?

i thought it was absolutely terrific... and yes, they should have kept it. but we already have loads of creepy crawlies- in the city council!!!!
