I don't know why Pitfall is considered a classic and one of the best Atari games. Nostalgia mostly, I think. Even back in the day I was bored senseless playing it. There are lots of 2600 titles that are better

why do you resort to emulation?

@highwaysonyfan87 I've answered this question a lot, but you may not have heard it before. I don't have the equipment to convert straight from the console to the computer. And it's much less of a headache with systems like NES with my walkthroughs, keeping save states for each level makes grabbing footage I missed much easier, as opposed to going back through the entire game to capture 4 seconds of footage.

Wait wait wait... my version even the cartridge art looks really diffrent ... This game looks brighter has more colors and just wow... what is this an emulator or another version of the game?

I've played the Genesis version. It's a big improvement from Super Pitfall but I never really loved it.
