This video was filmed, edited and compiled by Kenneth B. Deckard at the Care for Dogs Foundation shelter in Nam Phrae, Hang Dong, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Care for Dogs work is only possible because kind people donate money and allow the volunteers and staff to help as many dogs find homes, reach better health and find refuge at the shelter away from threats of death from poisoning, being eaten or other abusive situations. Road accidents are common and Mange as well as Transmissible Venereal Tumor (TvT) are widespread.

dogs r luckily 2 b in Thailand cos' in some asian countries most ended up in cooking pot. @ least in thailand there is still light @ d turnnel n caring people. lady doesn't look like thai 2 me ....how come???

There are plenty of people who help the humans-who cares about the poor animals??? You guys obviously do, it makes me feel better knowing that there are so many Animal lover,,, I cannot say this enough: *...Saving just one pet won't change the world ...but, surely, the world will change for that one pet...* But if we stick to it we can make a difference! I have been in this Shelter - it is really Great - I even know some of the dogs.... thanks Ally and of course Karin this wonder is real! - They save lives and are educating Children - the dog owner of tomorrow! Thank Care for Dogs
