  • I am born and raised here. River definitely still exists. Most of the river was buried in the 60's so the Braga bridge could be built. Recent talk to daylight the river again, haven't heard anything in the past few months. I for one would love to see the river flowing. My mom has told me it was quite beautiful. City has several waterfalls too.

  • I was just told recently that the river still exists in some places and in some places underground...Validity unsure, but it sounds feasible.

  • what ever happened that river??? did they get rid of it when they built 195???
