Tokyo Adventure Day One: Travelling to Ikebukuro

My friend Cheeb and I went to the land of Tokyo for two weeks of awesomeness.

First day, full of travelling!

Our travels from Heathrow Airport on our 11 hour journey to Narita Airport, we then travel via limousine bus to our hotel, witnessing the many sights!

After a much needed nap, a view of our hotel, The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ikebukuro, where we then take our journey towards food! Eating at nearby restaurant munching on yakitori ^___^

im going to the crown plaza hotel next week. My question: How difficult was it to check in ? do they speak at least a bit english at the reception ?

It is very easy to check in, there is actually a bell boy that will most likely come and greet you as you enter the building, if not, the front desk is easily visible and welcoming (Your bags will be taken to your room). The staff are quite fluent in English and will be helpful for any request s you have ^___^

hey did u buy a japan rail pass? if so how much was it??

Hey! As I stayed within Tokyo, I didn't need a Japan Rail Pass, this is used to travel across Japan. I bought a Pasmo card, which you can use on a all subway trains and train systems. It's basically a rechargeable card which you top up as you go. If you need any other help, let me know ^___^
