3min of TagTool fun

playing for the first time with the tagtool we made, and it works just fine, just needs to be mounted in the case we got. then we just need to perform it live, film it and post a video here.=D

Hey Lucas:) We made a tagtool here in spain but unfortunetly we got stuck. The arduino is installed as com4 and it has the tagtool01.pde on it, the node kit wont comunicate with it. What can we do? We run it on windows vista with the arduino duemilanove atmega 328. Thanks for your time

Hi !! we tried to make it work on vista, but we did not suceed. so my friend installed winXP on his MAC :O haha and it worked perfectly... It works fine on my pc with XP....

other thing, the pen tablet software must have the original factory drivers installed, i know it works autodetected without the original drivers, but here it only worked when i downloaded and installed the factory drivers. hope this helps !!

Pff in the end I got it working to, I had the arduino cominicating and every thing went fine. I used the tagtool a few times nd than suddenly the node kit wont open up the drawing project any more .. I have no Idea what coused this, I gues xp is a lot better but its hard with new laptops because they come with vista and many times dont provide the xp compatible drivers

cool at least it works !!! we got it working on a mac with xp installed and it was much more stable than in my pc... weird...

hi, i'm nadal, from argentina.

we just made our tagtool. but we have a problem with the nodekit. the program nodekit can't make the handshake with the board. te program doesn't recognize the board or something. can you help us? maybe y can send a mail with the problems and help us. we think is some problems with the com ports. i can't wait for your answer!! thank you!

hey nadal. You need the original drivers installed for it to work. I know it recognizes the tablet without instaling any drivers, but you need the original factory tablet drivers installed. I had this problem and it was solved when I did this....

The arduino virtual COM port must be installed and you can test if arduino software is communicating with it by uploading the code to it.

try the latest nodekit. you need frameworks dotnetfx 2.0 or higher installed
