@FantastyckplastycK The X6 on Top Gear had the wrong tyres. Many Discoverys are used off road so Land Rover fit a tyre that is useful for both on road and light off road work. BMW know almost all X6 owners stick to the road only, so fit a general road tyre which is no good on any form of off roading, even slight work. All that is needed is a different type of tyre fitted if you want to do a mixture. Clarkson never mentioned that as he is a Land Rover fan, so wants to make the Disco look good

@TheLaimer exactly what i was talking about u need only a locked differential so that the left tires if they spin the right ones go with them... thnx for the further explanation

What you need are lockers, you can maybe climb that hill with a 2WD if it has a lock differential, but not with an AWD car without lockers, because the left wheels would just spin...

@FantastyckplastycK very simple, the two left tires are on snow and the two right are on a bit wet asphalt so u could climb there with any 4x4 car u would choose , like a audi or lamborghini or whatever so the right tires would grip easily on the road

@AndrewParkerTV Hey no problem man, I did know too that He compared a Discovery with a X6 or at least show them both.

Anyway, Range Rover and Bmw X6 are both amazing cars. I'd be happy to own one myself.

@kenjikFr Wrong, on Top Gear Clarkson used a brand new Land Rover Discovery with all weather tyres.  The BMW X6 had summer tyres which are standard in the UK. Clarkson even admitted doing this to make the British car look better. I don't mind as i'm British lol
