Mr. Andersen shows you how to sink leaf chads in preparation for the AP Biology photosynthesis lab. An empty syringe is used to remove gas from the leaves before the lab. As the chloroplasts absorb light they produce oxygen bubbles which eventually cause the leaves to float.

  • I got a question. Why some of the chads "rise up" faster than the others?

  • Good video. I would like to suggest your get a camera that records higher resolution, it was a litte hard to see clearly

  • @tito1894 I wish I could say more but with my busy schedule and other challenging classes only AP Bio. I took one last year too. I am only a Sophomore though
