Jazz version and tribute to the famous French song . Minako sama is no longer with us, but tonight 31 may 2011, the fabulous guitarist Kazumi Watanabe is in Paris with more than 30 artists for a charity concert to tsunami victims. Minako's spirit will be present. do*MINA*xel.

Thank you for posting this video, I first heard Minako in the late '80s but lost track of her because her work was not available in the States. I saw this clip two years ago when I was scrolling through Piaf and I was impressed that the vocalist was absolutely true to Piaf, so I saved it. Six months ago I saw it in my favorites and replayed it and the voice and name rang a bell. Minako Honda became one of the greatest voices of our time and I would not have known that had it not been for you

Or check it on Amazon there are so many
cd about her. But on the cd cover of Angel voice
cd with Minako Honda on the cover. She is so pretty :(

Three years ago yesterday Minako lost her bout with leukemia. She was a complete person, intelligent, funny, warm, sensual, kind, down-to-earth, appreciative, brave....An example of how whole a human person can be. I appreciate singwithlove for posting this so we all can enjoy it. There were people who criticized L.Armstrong for recording "Wonderful World". Minako tried many genres her last few years. I love everything she did. Her sweetness shines through it all. Greg G. of Portland
