Star of the County Down

Nearly there! Seven days more days and well all be nursing a pint or two of the black stuff and waxing lyrical about our great great grandfathers who has a bit of the Blarney in them. It's not a holiday in Blighty so I wont be able to give it my full undivided attention mores the pity! This song takes us to Banbridge, County Down in the North of the Emerald Isle where a young Irish buck is intent on wooing a pretty colleen by the name of Rosie. Played in Em with da capo on first fret.

Brilliant. There was a band in Alaska, "Banish MisFortune," that did that song in the 80's (my parents still play it!) Played with lots of feeling. Really love it. 5*!

Good cover! I am covering this song for St Patricks Day and this is my favourite version I found today. It's hard to do and make it interesting cos it's normally very similar all the way through. Good job Navim, I like it :)
