does a pineapple shape ukulele sound different than a regular shaped one? cuz im interested to start learning and i dont know what soprano i should get first

@whomenoyou1ol : The most important factor that affects sound is the kind of wood it's made from -- koa is warm, mahogany is mellow, spruce is bright, etc. The pineapple shape does affect the sound a bit too. I think it's louder and has more low tones than a traditional figure-8 shape made from the same material. If you can, try testing different kinds and see which one appeals to you most.
