OK guys, don't give up your day job, seriously. If you want some fill in from the Greeks to the 1800s check out William R. Newman, PhD's books: "Promethean Ambitions: Alchemy & the Quest to Perfect Nature," "Gehennical Fire: The Lives of George Starkey, An American Alchemist in the Scientific Revolution," "Alchemy: Tried in the Fire," & others -- all about the evolution of atomic theory from the Greeks to Newton. You do know that atomic theory is a theory, right? ...we really don't know much.

The point of this video is a fun, semi-educational rap. We did this as a project in a chemistry class in high school....

Yeah, Dr. Newman's a chemist. He studied at Harvard & is currently head of the History & Philosophy of Science Department @ Indiana University. He's found the thread of atomic theory through alchemy to Boyle & Newton. "Keep your day job" is standard advice to budding artists - like telling an actor to "bread a leg."
Really? This was for a chem class? ...& RecksMs got credit for singing it for his class? Amazing! Woe for American Ed!
But what this vid needed was a director w/ a vision.

030151,
None of us are "budding artists." Yes, I was the director and I had a vision: "Score a perfect score on my chemistry project by creating a humorous, somewhat accurate rap on a chemistry top." We have no aspirations to learn anymore about the Atomic Theory than the basic "Wikipedia" level research we did for writing this rap.
I think your sarcasm is ridiculous, how can you woe American education based on a 3 minute fun video? Sounds like an illogical fallacy to me!
