@Gleekazoid46 I always wanted the final episode to be that when Arkwright returns from a long honeymoon with nurse gladdys, he finds Granville is successfully running the business and has opened up a chain of stores, becoming the "wealthy executive" that he always wanted to be. Arkwright ends up working for Granville ;)

I reckon Open All Hours should come back for a one off episode or maybe even a series with Granville becoming the owner of the shop and if Granville ever had a son when the series ended then he could be Granville's assistant :)
