I played my first game against the 'Nids with thier new rules... The new Mawloc has something like 26 attacks, (If thats wrong, I apologise, but its what it seemed like.) The new rules are unbalivably powerful.

It doesnt mean they will overrun the Galaxy. This Universe, (If it existed), would be more or less like conventional warfare today. People like Space Marine Force Commanders could be killed by something as small as say, a dart from that plant on Catachan, through his un-helmeted head.

to be fare the mawloc's maxium attacks would be 4 (charging included) when it appears it creates a str 6 ap 2 large blast strike where it lands (its a great infantry killer) and also is put into combat the moment it surfaces ture the beast is mighty but no unbeatable

I can't wait, I'm a marine player myself but do have other armies, one of which is my 'nids. I am gonna love unleashing the Mawloc on my forces, up and under there, oh dear, my squad got eaten.

Cant they not Deepstrike in Planetstrike?

Or is that why they came out with that box set and tunneler units?

@livingmylifeatmach2 I would think that you would just engage the mawloc in close combat. That way it can't burrow again and (depending on what you assault it with) you might kill it.

I personally think the mawloc should deepstrike into enemy lines. not continuously, but rather when on the last turn to contest an objective. During annihilation, use it as a support unit.

no idea bud add a tyrant to the scream combo -5 to ld the stratagy is or was called "the tyranid choir" theres also the whip lash and toxic miasma combo give ur hive tyrant and tyrant gaurd lash whips give the hive tyrant toxic miasma this reduces the best charciters down to 2 attacks at most and at -1WS just for fun

best stradigy ever.. get a tyrant with 3 tyrant gasurds allong with 3 zoanthropes give thropes psy scream and warp blast and the tyrant psy scream also so if anyone wants to attack the tyrant they would need to take a moral test at -4!!! lolololol
