Actually I think he's using drop D with Dadgad, but the bridging shouldn't work. Still not quite figured it out.

It's drop D, with everything else in D sharp. Quite easy to play.

You might try using less reverb on the vocals and overall. Not sure how experienced you are at recording, but overdoing the reverb is a pretty common "mistake" for those starting out. Trust me, raw vocals sound much better, and you've got some pipes you shouldnt cover up.

It's Drop-D, Chords are a little Jimmy Eat World-ish, iirc.
