JonBenet as part of a line up of at least ten girls at the Sunburst pageant national contest in August of 1996. I call attention to the obvious difference between her elaborate attention-getting harlequin outfit, and the more modest party dresses of the girls flanking her. Perhaps this need of JonBenet's mother Patsy to force the clothing to attract attention, rather than the mere fact of JonBenet's natural personality, led to the reason why the judges at the pageant decided, according to Patsy's statement in Death of Innocence that "JonBenet made the top ten, but did not make the cut to the top five."

  • People amaze me...There has been NO PROOF whatsoever that pageantry led to this child's death. Your child is more at risk at church, the park and school than at a pageant! LOOK AT STATISTICS PEOPLE!

  • jonbenet is the bestttiess.

  • Omg it's just hair leave it alone!!!!

  • @seonfox There's nothing wrong about getting her hair dyed! Yes I agree she was a bit to young to get a full hair color change, but it's the worst thing to do to your daughter! What is JonBenet was the one who wanted the blonde hair :P

  • @funkychiewawa Calling all that attention to your child.. making her appear older and provacative.. You think that's normal? What a retard!

  • @funkychiewawa You are fucking stupid.

  • @Angelicafaith723 There is no such "natural" rule in pageants. There are some systems that are strictly Natural, but there are also full Glitz systems. Nothing is "wrong" with pageants, whether it be natural or glitz. The media and people who are followers of media propaganda are the only opponents of children's beauty pageants.

  • @funkychiewawa THANK YOU! man about time that someone was speaking truth!

  • Yes JonBenet hair WAS dyed. Here is the proof: In the 1997 Vanity Fair interview with her Nanny, her Nanny said "One day I was sitting at the breakfast table with JonBenet & I ask her 'So who's dying your hair JonBenet?' JonBenet got all goshed up & gasped ' Youre not suppose to know that!' I said 'Okay I wont tell, it will be our little secrect.' So there, its settled. Her hair WAS beening dyed & it had nothing to do with the sun.

  • GOSH Jonbenet's hair WAS dyed blonde, she was born with Brown hair and until she was about 4, she had dark brown hair, and if you look at the pictures around the time of her death, mostly the ones taken on the day she died, it looks like it needed to be touched up.

  • Patsy actually did, See, Jonbenet had blonde hair, and you can see her roots are dark brown. In her last pictures, the day she died, it looks like she needed a touch up. :( I dont see anything wrong with dying her hair

  • ur comment only prove that u didnt know anything bout this case! You have to know that JonBenét LOVED to be in the pageants Patsy DIDNT forced her to do it...and like luvtheRG said she was naturally blond.
