  • @maxyblack0: If you want to still continue your dream, try to head over to LA or find an agent in your area. I am originally from California, but I moved to Kentucky for my college. I know they have nothing here, but I am using the time to apply to production companies in hopes that they will give me a job as an extra or something.

  • @maxyblack0: Well not always dude, Have you ever heard of the actor Daren Kagasoff? He was a sophomore up at San Francisco State university, whom dropped out before he started his acting career. The only hard part he said was just telling his parents straight off that he wanted to act and using their money to foot the bill on his $800 acting classes. On his sixth audition, he got the show Secret Life of the American Teenager and now he is living high.

  • @arviagent13 yea that is weird, with this whole resume stuff and agents and hollywood,im never going to live my dream = ( oh well

  • @adamzizhere: I would move to New York and Los Angeles. Then we you visit there, try to get all the acting agencies you can in that area and ask for agents. Use the agents to get you professional acting lessons.

  • @maxyblack0: They actually do that. I overheard one actual agent that came for John Robert Powers audition today say that he will not consider any resume unless it lists a famous casting director or agent. Apparently, you need to have connections even before getting into the whole acting thing. Weird right?

  • No agent in his right mind is looking for some ''EXTRA'' work on actors resume.

EXTRA is Extra is not acting. Been on set?? being on set won't help you when you doing a scene with someone else in front of the camera. I am sick of '' experts everywhere like you,..who never made it and now telling everyone how and what to do..

  • when that guy said about agents shredding ur resume im like "ok thats just harsh"

  • @vduke No, seriously I can't imagine it would be easy for tall girls to get certain roles. My height will be a problem..I know it will be. And most roles for Hispanic women ask for the typical look...brown skin, shorter...I'm the complete opposite of that. Ppl think Rodriguez and they don't imagine someone who looks like me.
