@72tubecat You can't get rid of it. It's not a handout. It's money that people have paid into their entire working lives - when they retire, they get it back. Simple as that. It's currently NOT in financial trouble either. It's almost like a savings account or a form of insurance. Can you imagine the old-age poverty that would occur without it? End the wars, yes. Secure the borders, yes. Deny the elderly what they've been saving for their entire lives? No!

I really see a good character in Kucinich. On that same note, I have followed the long trend of Mr. champion of the Constitution Ron Paul. It's never going to be perfect; but I think we can have healthcare if we stop the war machine, secure the borders, and getting rid of social security. Social security has been abused beyond recognition, as well as war mongering! Getting back to the Constitution is key to saving America!

@czubspenx It's not our senators and congressmen doing it, it's the federal reserve and the IRS. Actually the IRS is nothing more than bookkeepers for the national debt. Remove the "credit" and there can be no debt. The books just have to be balanced.
That's all the irs really cares about.

@cenochs We can fight fire with fire, but two wrongs never make a right. I guess what I'm saying is that if we lower ourselves to their level we're just as bad as they are. We have to be superior and show them how things are supposed to work. Let them know that we know what they're doing but at the same time kill them with kindness. Pile heaps of coal on their heads.
