@TkMToM1993 Hi there, yes sometimes it does. Generally the more complex the scenery the more resources it takes from your computer; this usually slows the computer down.

@Leftfield755 Hi there; my computer is pretty old now so it would be better to have a look at some of the videos with more up-to-date equipment. If you do a search for FSX i7 you should get some good results.
