While looking at the remnants of "The Dinky Line" track being removed at Highland Ave crossing, a CSX with 5 engines crawled by on 1/13/08.

  • i remember now,the dinky line! It isn't the new inland lakes railway near Florida central railroad,but a small line that branched out to serve industries,they have photos on flrails(dot net),it's CSX!Last time I did a comment simular,i was in a hurry. You might remember the altamont branch in Sanford too.LOVE THAT HORN K5H!!! And nice normal CSX florida Power!

  • @sakuraknight9274 yeah i used to go to school there and the "dinky line" was removed a year or 2 ago :/ it ran through the parking lot and under the softball field i wish the line was stil there and was still used good times those must of been

  • @acelafan123 I used to work in the cafeteria at Lake Highland Prep back in the mid 90's. I miss seeing the CSX local delivering lumber to Mills and Nebraska Lumber back in the days. You mean that old track was part of the "Dinky line"? I thought it ended at M&N Lumber.

  • Can't believe there was a U-series locomotive on there. Is it a U-23B? I get mixed-up with the U-series sometimes.

  • there's a seperate line that crossed at this road,it was only a small ind.line
