We The People Short Film # 11 - The Protester

CNN IReport Film Festival winner Mike Dennis created a series of 13
original short films from footage captured during his trip to the 2009
Presidential Inauguration. Capturing the sights and sounds the day
before and the day of the event, his goal was to provide a tapestry of
thoughts and feelings from those who made the pilgramage to witness
this truly historical event.


In Short Film # 11, we meet Rev. Matt Trewhella, from Milwaukee, WS. His hope is that America will change it's view on Abortion.

Abortion for rape is executing an innocent person. Makes no sense. We all have one mother, two grandmas, four great-grandmas, and 1,024 great-9x-grandmas. If EVEN ONE had been raped (very likely in everybody's family tree, considering the historical rate of rape) then their kid wouldn't have been allowed to live, the next generation would have a gap, ditto for the next and next generation,so finally either your mom or dad would never have existed.That means you wouldn't be here. Is that fair?

What if you just found out you were conceived in rape. Should you be killed? If the baby may cause problems or serious health issues? What if you caused problems or serious health issues. I don't stand by abortion but if other people want to do it then thats up to them but i do think it should be up to the man and woman because there both responsible for the baby being there (unless the woman is raped) so if the woman dosn't want the child i think the man should be allowed to take care of it.If the baby may cause problems or serious health issues then it should be all up to the woman.I just think it's unfair that they get all the say in weather it's going to be born or not.
