Serious Sam HD First Mini Boss Fight on MENTAL

This is the first mini-boss fight in Serious Sam / Serious Sam HD.

This was taken during a multiplayer game. Pool lives, 200 on Mental difficulty. Very hard.
We didn't get past this level, using up the remaining pool lives soon after this.



I capured this at half resolution so the picture is kind of fuzzy. I forgot I had the program set to that, otherwise it would have been in higher quality. I have to turn the graphics down so I can get a good framerate while capturing. I get an excellent framerate when I am not recording but while recording, I need the extra FPS so the picture won't be horrible, choppy and the game be unplayable.

This is a mini-boss enemy named "Reptiloid - Highlander."

Mental is the epic boss you fight at the end of Serious Sam 2, but it gets away before Sam can kill it.

Jesus Christ,I never got to play HD (my comp is a piece of ...),but I never THOUGHT that the Aldurian Reptiloid could be this hard!I mean,I beat him in 30 secs!On Hard...

Yeah, I bought a new computer JUST SO I could play Serious Sam HD. I was kind of pissed when I couldn't play it myself, but I figured it was time to upgrade.

The reason this was so hard was because it had 400x monster strength or something. lol

Does every enemy in mental difficulty disappear every few seconds?

Yes. It makes the game incredibly frustrating at times. In this case, each enemy also had extra hit points that made them very powerful.

The Mental difficulty is mainly for online play. On normal settings the enemies do the same damage and have the same amount of health as on the "Serious" difficulty, but they disappear.

i played a solo game earlier today, i hosted a private match but it was by myself and i set the difficulty to mental enemy health +400% Enemy damage +200%. and i fought this guy, he was tough as nails thank goodness i enabled infinite ammo because shooting hundreds and hundreds of rockets don't really help. cannon also takes forever.

@Galaxieretter My friend Invited me to russian server today, that wasn't so bad, today ping was 100 but it was runing very good.We don't tried co-op on my server ,we think about it.Yeah I don't see there mature players.
