Except when he has a bias for a special kind of game. Then he'll praise the stuff he likes instead of his usual trend of making shit up about the games he didn't like.
-
I love your lectures! They're so insightful and funny. Can't what for the next one.
-
he has had positive reviews before, his psychonauts review was mostly positive but most of the feedback is that nobody likes him when he is positive so he gives people what they want

thats a good point i will agree that yatzee isnt as funny as he use to be but, like i said its all up to personal opinon i like both and i enjoy both and hes negative for a reason would you want to hear an optimistic yatzee i think hes so negative just for the sake of the comedy i might be wrong but i dont think i am and another thing is its hard to come up with joke after joke each week you cant expect all of his jokes to be gems your asking way to much of the guy if you expect anything else

As Floyd himself said on the podcast, he puts the ZP reference at the end as a pre-emptive strike against anyone who thinks that the slideshow-narrative style must be "ripping off Zero Punctuation". It kind of takes the wind out of potential flamewars/arguments.

Yahtzee to me has become just boring anymore, yes he's got a few good jokes here and there, but overall, he's just so negative, it's like watching the same thing over, and over again.
-
i still find yatzee funny but then i enjoy smart ass type characters. It is similar in the fact that its an animated representation of a real person talking about videogames and off-handandedly
mentioning them as a an artform, other then that their pretty different. On a more serious note thoughits like comparing apples and oranges both or good to eat but its all up to personal opinion

looking forward to the next lecture :)

Nope, you are completely right, I also like him more than Yatzee, I just can't laugh at that guy anymore, so I go to the more... serious videos, I guess.
Despite that he credits Yahtzee, mr Floyd isn't really an imitator of him. Similar style, but not enough to be called an imitator, or even really to say he was inspired by him. He just doesn't have the confidence (or so it seems) to take credit for his own work.
God, I sound like a fanboy.
