@cheesemonkey1990 I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I plain forgot! August 2 is the feast of the Portiuncula. St Francis obtained from the Pope a special plenary indulgence for those who on that day visited that little chapel. Today a plenary indulgence for the poor souls can be obtained by visiting any Catholic Church from noon on August 1 to noon on August 2. I believe the usualy conditions for a plenary indulgence apply.

@francissisterspeoria will do. I myself am joining the franciscans of the Immaculate (check out their vocation video here on youtube [franciscan vocations]) on August second. I must also add to what a few others have alreay said, it is wonderful that all of you wear your habits. too many communityes refuse to do that now adays.

Wow! It's nice to see sisters in habits in the USA! The habit (be it a modern or a traditional one) surely makes a difference! It is a witness to the world...a preaching without the use of words...It is a reminder of the Divine and the things that truly matters...like COMPASSION, DEDICATION AND HOLINESS!
