Any of you haters please pick up 'The Game' - It is not a book about learning how to game but rather Neil Strauss' journey into investigating the pick up artist community and eventually he applied the theories he learned to himself. The book is about his experiences and the craziness that comes with attempting and becoming a pick-up artist.

I did not believe the hype until I read the book and one day tried some of the things out. It really works. Just gotta give it a shot...

So good in fact that you shouldn't be mentioning it on here.

It's meant to be limited to just a few guys in each city so you should really keep it on the down-low.

The less guys that know about it the better in my opinion.

This book isn't really a manual of lines and scripts you should use. It's a story basically. It analyzes the pick up community using Neil Strauss as a lens. The Game is usually read first by guys looking to adapt the lifestyle. It is essentially for complete newbies or people with no prior knowledge on pick up and are looking for an answer. The material is inspirational but not enlightening. People looking to grab some great techniques for picking up women should look elsewhere.

@OscarCB1 Don't be so harsh though, using lines that are specifically mentioned in the game are not only a great way to get somebody started, but very effective despite their overuse

@fin38 thats beautiful dude. I like using the "Your hair would look better down/up" or when you are shutting her out of the group conversation and she asks something or tries to get closer you say "Is she always this (pushy, grabby, nosey, whatever)"
