Very cool but 3k $ seems bit expensive.

japan often produces many of the best fish tank equipment as well as some of the best aquascapers in the world. Aquaponics (specifically) has shown to not only be astethically pleasing but a well balanced system for both fish and plants, producing fruits and vegetables with extra vitamins and shorter growth periods.... I don't see where your comment is relevant to anything.

Great idea, but would obviously need some redesigning.

Are plants going to do ok with that little light? You put that outside and algae will take it over. I feel like the amount of light required will be too much for the fish. Awesome concept though! And I could be wrong about the light, it may be perfect.

That is NOT a sustainable aquarium and no aquarium that over stocked would be unless you have an enormous sump and a great deal of physical, chemical, and biological filtration. An aquarium like that would be nothing but torture for those animals. There's multiple species in that display that shouldn't even be together. Angels get huge and eat Neons. The Gourami in that tank don't even get along and will kill each other.

Sure the water's fine with the increase in biological filtration but it's the space that's an issue. The fish do not have enough room. Sure 50 people can live in a small space but would you want to? The fish are under a great deal of stress from the environment they're living in and they'll get sick and die from the stress. It's simply not enough physical space for healthy animals.
