yeah the black gell will cause buildup

Well, I never experienced flakes when i use gel.I guess everybody hair react differently. When i had permed hair it did leave flakes when i comb it out. I don't use gel all the time doe.

I use that gel too at times, I like to use the Black gel because it makes my locs last longer. Anyways your hair look nice

Thank you. But doesn't the black gel leave flakes? I tried it one time when I first started and I didn't like the residue it left behind.
