Three killed in first suicide attack in Eilat

Investigations into the Eilat bombing, the first to strike Israel's southernmost city, indicated that the 21-year-old bomber (Muhammed Faisal al-Saksak, a resident of the Gaza Strip and member of the Fatah-affiliated Aksa Martyrs Brigades) may not have intended to detonate his explosives pack in a bakery, but planned to execute the attack in a more crowded area.
During more than six years of Palestinian-Israeli violence, 540 people have been killed in 130 Palestinian suicide bombings. Here's a look at some of the deadliest attacks:
Jan. 29, 2007: A bomber blows up in Eilat bakery, killing three.
April 17, 2006: 1 bomber, 11 Israelis killed in Tel Aviv felafel stand bombing.
Dec. 5, 2005: A bomber blows up at a shopping mall in the coastal town of Netanya, killings five.
Oct. 26, 2005: A bomber blows up in Hadera at a felafel stand, killing five.
July 12, 2005: Bomber blows up at shopping mall in Netanya, killing five.
Feb. 25, 2005: In the first attack after a truce, a bomber blows himself up in crowd near Tel Aviv nightclub, killing four.
August 31, 2004: Two bombers in buses in Beersheba, killing 16.
March 14, 2004: Two bombers at Ashdod port, killing 10.
Jan. 29, 2004: A bombing on a bus on Jerusalem's Gaza Street kills 11 people.
Oct. 4, 2003: A bombing at a seaside restaurant in Haifa kills at least 19.
Sept. 9, 2003: A bombing at a bus stop near an army base outside Tel Aviv kills eight Israeli soldiers.

June 11, 2003: A bombing on a bus on Jerusalem's central Jaffa Street kills 17.

ok, when i was living in Eilat, we called this neighborhood "izidor" pretty poor area, shitty target, guy was an idiot, he could have scored like 70 ppL if he had balls.. in the tourist centre.. anyways.. i lived 200m from this grocery store laundromat corner store/ chicken pita place... there are always old russians drinking out there and the arabs i worked with in landscaping lived about 50m from this scene, 30 mins before this bomb went off they went to get food down there..i heard the boom

This shows that israel was right to build the wall in the west bank, which thankfully has now stopped suicide attacks in israel. Middle East peace is useless, unless you crush terrorist groups who kill people in supermarkets and other places. Thats why there is now more peace since Israel built the wall.
