  • What a great face and painting... sad about that the subject :'(

    Interesting about the coating.

Have you ever considered painting with outdoor paints? Five years ago I bought several enamels from Home Depot to paint some wooden whirligigs I'd made. The paint has the best luster I've found and since it holds up in the sun for years at a time it isn't likely to fade on fine art. I'm not sure if it can be used with trad painting methods, but works great with my dots.

  • @bowlingballout BBO, I remember you telling me about the outdoor paints that you use in your work. Very good idea.

I only coated these 2 mermaid paintings because I had collaged items onto the surface of them. Normally, I don't use the Polycrilic on acrylic paintings because they don't need it.

Thanks for watching and commenting and you and Gracie have a fantabulous holiday season! When do you venture north to visit CSM?
